Storm men's golf wraps up day one

PELLA, Iowa -- After the first day of the Ryerson Fall Classic on Friday, the Simpson men's golf team sits seventh with a team score of 333.

Senior Nathan Eaton is tied for 12th after shooting an 80 at Bos Landen Golf Course in Pella, Iowa. Freshman Isaac Roe and senior Konner Johnson are both tied for 23rd with an 83, while Lucas Hemphill carded an 87 to start his junior slate. Freshman Brendan Bayeur has a tally of 93 for the Storm at the halfway point of the event.

Luke Becker, Derek Maxfield and Robbie Ferneding are playing as individuals for Simpson. Becker is currently tied for 26th with an 84 and is second among the individuals. 

Competition resumes tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. for the final day of the Ryerson Fall Classic, hosted by Central College.
