Storm men’s golf announces fall campaign
INDIANOLA, Iowa -- The Simpson men's golf team will hit the links in late August to start the 2020-21 schedule with a one-day event at the Iowa Central Fall Kickoff.
After the spring slate was cancelled, the Storm travel to Fort Dodge Country Club on Friday, Aug. 28 for the season opener. Competition continues on Sept. 11-12 at the Midwest Region Classic in Galena, Illinois.
Simpson participates in the Norm Ryerson Invitational at Bos Landen Golf Course in Pella, Iowa on Sept. 18-19, right before its own invitational on Wednesday, Sept. 30 at the Indianola Country Club.
The Storm close out the fall campaign at the Viterbo Invitational on Oct. 5-6 at Onalaska, Wisconsin, held at La Crosse Country Club.
Last fall, Simpson competed in five events and closed out the semester with its best finish of the year with a fourth-place nod at the Southeastern Community College and William Penn Invitational.
