Simpson men compete in DMACC Invite

AMES, Iowa -- The Simpson men's golf team concluded the DMACC Invitational on Monday by placing 11th with a team score of 340.

Senior Nathan Eaton finished first for the Storm as he carded an 80. Freshman Isaac Roe, sophomore Luke Becker and freshman Brendan Bayeur ended second, third and fourth, respectively, for the team.

In just his second match for Simpson, freshman Brett Jansen carded a career-low 95, which is 14 strokes lower than his previous best. 

The Storm will close out their fall slate next week at the two-day Grand View Invitational. Competition begins on Oct. 19 at Otter Creek Golf Course in Ankeny, Iowa.
