Eaton grabs top-15 finish for Storm men

PELLA, Iowa -- The Simpson men's golf team produced a seventh-place finish to close out the opening weekend at the Ryerson Fall Classic on Saturday, hosted by Central College.

Senior Nathan Eaton carded an 81 to tie for 13th for the Storm's only top-15 placing, while classmate Konner Johnson trimmed one shot off his score yesterday with an 82 to tie for 21st.

Freshmen Isaac Roe and Luke Becker finished third and fourth for Simpson, respectively, with junior Lucas Hemphill closing in at fifth.

The Storm take a short pause in action and will be back on the links on Wednesday, Sept. 30 on their home course, the Indianola Country Club, for the Simpson Invitational.
