KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced the Simpson College men's basketball team as a recipient of the 2021-22 NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards on Tuesday. In addition, five players were named to the NABC Honors Court.

Individually, Andrew Curran, Rhett Darland, Buck Eagleburger, Chris Honz and Ben Wolgemuth were all named to the NABC Honors Court. Darland and Honz are repeat honorees from a year ago, while Curran, Eagleburger and Wolgemuth are first-time selections.

The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
