BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – Up against No. 9 Millikin to open the Illinois Wesleyan Tournament, the Storm fought hard but fell in four sets.

The match opened with a close first and second set with the Storm (7-13) falling in both of the games, however, in the third set, Simpson fought back to keep themselves alive in the match. Unfortunately it was not enough for the team and they lost the match by falling in set four.

Emily Williams led the team in kills, tallying 12 for the Storm. Jada Schmidt and Peyton Mitchell were close behind with nine each. Morgan DenBeste led the team in assists with an outstanding 30 assist performance. Ella Meyer led the team in digs, putting up 18 total.
