Women’s swimming earns academic All-American honor

RICHMOND, Va. - The Simpson College women's swimming and diving team earned a place as a Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2022 semester, as announced by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

Teams were selected on the basis of their Fall 2022 team grade point averages and represent 19,426 student-athletes. The Storm finished with a 3.66 total GPA in the fall, which was the highest mark of any American Rivers Conference team on either the men or the women's side.

The Storm have now been selected as a Scholar All-America Team for the 17th time out of the last 20 semesters.

The Storm resume competition by taking on Coe in a dual meet on Saturday at 12 p.m., the final tuneup before the A-R-C Championships, which take place over a span of three days beginning on Feb. 16.
