INDIANOLA, Iowa – The Simpson women's soccer team broke loose in the second half, scoring five times to cruise to a 5-0 win over Nebraska Wesleyan at Buxton Stadium.
After a scoreless first half, the Storm (6-3-2, 2-0 A-R-C) exploded for five goals in 36 minutes. Allie McCoy got things started in the 54th minute, and Savannah Schneider followed in the 67th with an assist from Elle Street. Brissa Valdez made it 3-0 in the 81st off a feed from Pepper Earle, and Taylor Smith added another just three minutes later. Smith then set up Georgia Paulson in the 88th minute to cap the scoring.
Simpson outshot the Prairie Wolves (2-5-3, 0-2 A-R-C) 28-5 and earned its fifth shutout of the year, with Meredith Downs making three saves in goal.

- Georgia Paulson has found the back of the net in three straight matches now.
- Allie McCoy and Savannah Schneider registered their first goals of the season, while Paulson and Taylor Smith notched their fourth and Brissa Valadez tallied her second.
