Street, Noland named Simpson Athletes of the Month for October

INDIANOLA, Iowa – Football freshman Noah Noland and women's soccer senior Elle Street have been selected as the Simpson Athletics Athletes of the Month for October.

Noland anchored the Storm defense with a dominant stretch of performances, while Street provided reliability and leadership across multiple positions to help guide women's soccer to a strong conference finish.

Noah Noland, football

• Freshman from Carlisle, Iowa
• Amassed 46 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, and two sacks across three games
• Set a career high with 18 tackles against Coe
• Reached double-digits again with 10 stops against Luther
• Matched his career high with 18 tackles again against Dubuque, including 12 solo stops
• Voted A-R-C Male Athlete of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week (Oct. 27)
• Named to D3football.com Team of the Week (Oct. 28)

Elle Street, women's soccer

• Senior from Ankeny, Iowa
• Played 625 of 630 possible minutes during Simpson's 5-2 month
• Led the defense in three shutouts and two additional matches allowing just one goal
• Served as a versatile utility player, filling multiple positions as the Storm secured a third place conference finish
• Provided an assist in Simpson's 5-0 victory over Nebraska Wesleyan
