NWCA National Championship begins Friday for Storm

INDIANOLA, Iowa -- Simpson College wrestling will compete one last time this season in the National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III National Championships this weekend at the XTream Arena in Coralville, Iowa.

Ten grapplers will hit the mat for the Storm as the event takes place of the cancelled NCAA Division III National Championships.

Dylan McChesney enters the weekend ranked eighth at 125 pounds after collecting seven wins this season, including three falls. Dalton Cockman (165) and Shyler Langley (174) are second on the team with five victories each and both have two pins.

Robert Silva (157) and Colton Kinnison (285) have three wins apiece during their sophomore slate and look to add a few more for Simpson this weekend. Jason Padilla (133), Josh Bower (141), Jakob Slavin (149), Andrew Wolff (189) and Shane Mathias (197) hit the mat as well for the Storm.
