Simpson remains sixth at A-R-C Championships

AMES, Iowa -- The Simpson women's golf team remains in sixth place after the conclusion of day two of the American Rivers Conference Championships on Sunday. 

Senior Megan Crockett carded an 88 for a new career low for the Storm's best performance this afternoon. Junior Averi Peck joined Crockett in improving from yesterday by shooting a 95, one stroke lower than Saturday's total.

Senior Emily Jansen still sits atop the team standings with a two-day sum of 177 to be tied for 18th, which is one stroke better than Crockett. Freshman Sydney Stephenson is third on the team with a 188 after ending the day with a 95. Freshman Hannah Mulligan is still fifth for Simpson.

Up Next
Mulligan will start things out for the Storm tomorrow to close out the A-R-C Championships with an 11 a.m. tee time.
