Simpson women’s golf conclude day one of Wartburg Invite

WAVERLY, Iowa -- Senior Emily Jansen is leading the Simpson women's golf team after the first day of the Wartburg Invitational on Saturday at Prairie Links Golf Course.

Jansen shot a 90 to finish tied for 27th to help the Storm as the squad is currently ninth with a team score of 436. Freshman Sydney Stephenson is second on the team with a 101 to start her career for Simpson.

Senior Megan Crockett is just behind Stephenson with a 102, while freshman Hannah Mulligan rounds out the Storm golfers.
