Storm cross country tally USTFCCCA All-Academic awards

NEW ORLEANS -- The Simpson College men's and women's cross country teams earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic awards.

The women showcased a 3.57 grade-point average, while the men carded a 3.52 GPA during their season.

The men closed the fall with a third-place finish at the American Rivers Conference Championships for the program's best result since 1990. The trio of Spencer Moon (third), Harry Dudley (10th) and Eric Baldus (12th) captured all-conference honors to become the first trio to earn all-league distinction since 1988 for the Storm. The women tallied sixth at the championships

In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
