Moon finishes national championships for Storm
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Spencer Moon of the Simpson men's track and field team wrapped up the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships, competing in the 3000 meters.
Moon took 14th place with a time of 8:21.22, giving the Storm four total participants that finished in the top 20 nationally. Max Cleveland took 11th place in the 60 meter hurdles, Carter Berkey tied for 18th in the long jump, and Moon took 15th in the 5000 meters, with those events occurring yesterday.

Both the men and women's teams will now gear up for the outdoor track season, kicking off on the first day of April. The two teams will travel back to Wartburg for the opening meet of the outdoor season.
