Storm clipped by Knox on the road

GALESBURG, Ill. -- The Simpson College men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 match at Knox on Saturday.

The Prairie Fire (3-4-0) scored in the 83rd minute to snap the scoring drought for either team.

The Storm (2-4-1) owned the shot advantage at 13-11, with 10 of those attempts coming in the second half. Senior Enrique Idehen paced the team with five shots, including four on-frame. Senior Seth Bowman ended with three shots.

Freshman William Kopp was busy in goal for Simpson by snagging six shots. His counterpart, Nico Lantzendorffer, saved nine to earn the shutout.
