FOND DU LAC, Wis. - Marian scored early and late in a 2-0 win against Simpson on Sunday.
Jose Hernandez scored in the second minute and David Reinke connected on the final goal in the 82nd minute for the Sabers (2-3).
Jeremy Reinert (Indianola, Iowa) took four of Simpson's eight shots on the day and goalkeeper Luke Aronow (Ankeny, Iowa) made three saves.
The Storm (2-3) dropped both contests on their trip to the Badger State. Simpson lost to Concordia on Saturday by the same 2-0 score.
Simpson returns home Sept. 19 when it hosts Augustana (Ill.) at 2 p.m.
