Grinnell tops Storm, 1-0

GRINNELL, Iowa - A goal by Grinnell's Matti Sahel in the 19th minute provided the only scoring as Grinnell defeated Simpson, 1-0 on Saturday.

The Storm (1-1-0) outshot Grinnell and put more shots on goal, but couldn't find the net in the loss. Simpson also held a 7-4 advantage in corner kicks.

Adrian Alston-Moore assisted on Sahel's goal, which proved to be the game-winner for the Pioneers (1-0-1).

Simpson returns to action Monday, Sept. 6 when it hosts Millikin at 3 p.m.
