
Storm return to action in Oklahoma
NORMAN, Okla. – The Simpson College men's gymnastics team returned to competition on Saturday night against No. 1 Oklahoma and No. 6 Michigan.
The Storm compiled a team score of 285.550, while the Sooners edged out the Wolverines 327.700-326.400.
INDIVIDUAL HIGHLIGHTS
- Paul Tiedemann was one tenth off his personal best on floor and set a new career high on high bar with a 12.450.
- Tristan Shorey made his collegiate debut on pommel horse, scoring a 10.200. He also recorded an 11.750 on parallel bars, a new personal best.
- Brian Rollison and Alex Campbell just missed their season highs on rings, while Braxton Jones secured a career-best 12.250 on the same event.
- Milo Staley hit a season-best 13.300 on vault to finish behind Alex Campbell (13.350) and Jones (14.050).
