Storm place fourth at home event

INDIANOLA, Iowa - The Simpson College women's golf team placed fourth at its home event, the Storm Spring Classic, held at Indianola Country Club.

Kaylin Long led the Storm by tying for ninth, recording her second top 10 finish of the season. Long has now led the team in five of the nine events she has competed in this season.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • The Storm shot a 348 from its top scoring lineup, the best round the team has recorded this spring.
  • Long shot an 84 for her top 10 finish.
  • Madeline Streicher shot an 87 to tie for 14th, recording two birdies in her round.
  • Taylor Elam (88), Mirande Deppe (89), and Kristen Roe (90) rounded out the Storm scoring lineup.

UP NEXT
Simpson concludes the 2023-24 season with a two-day tournament in Oskaloosa, Iowa, beginning next Monday.
