Storm women shoot consistent two-day total

MARION, Iowa - The Simpson College women's golf team shot consistently across the two-day Mount Mercy Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.

The Storm shot 370 on day one and 371 on day two, defeating fellow American Rivers Conference member Loras in the process.

Freshman Kaylin Long led the Storm once again, being the team's top performer in her first two collegiate tournaments. Madeline Streicher finished one stroke behind Long for the tournament, shooting the best overall round for Simpson with an 87.

The Storm continue its season next weekend by traveling to Buena Vista for another two-day event.
