Long leads Storm for third time this season

STILLWATER, Minn. - The Simpson College women's golf team wrapped up a busy week of competition at the St. Kate's Fall Invite in Minnesota.

Freshman Kaylin Long is continuing to be a standout for the Storm, shooting her best round as a Storm player with an 80 on day one. Long shot a two-day total of 169 to be the top Simpson performer for the third time in her short career.

Madeline Streicher finished one stroke behind Long for the tournament, carding an 83 on day two for the second-best round out of a Storm player in the tournament. Freshman Kaia Masten continues to carve out a role in the Simpson lineup, as well as highlight the potential the team has. Masten fired her best round as a Storm player with an 84 on day two.

The Storm have a one-day event next Friday at Waldorf, the final event before the three day American Rivers Conference Championship.
