Men’s soccer holds steady at No. 7 in NCAA Regional Rankings

INDIANOLA, Iowa — For the second week in a row the Simpson men's soccer team comes in at No. 7 in the NCAA Division III North Region Rankings, released earlier this week. Simpson is also seventh in the United Soccer Coaches North Region Poll.

The second installment of the NCAA rankings have the Storm seventh of seven ranked teams in the region with a 13-2-2 overall record. The rankings were released before the team's 6-0 win over Coe as Simpson finished the regular season 14-2-2, the most wins for the program since 2002.

The Storm are also seventh in the United Soccer Coaches North Region Poll. Simpson reached as high as No. 3 on that poll back on Oct. 10.

Simpson earned the No. 3 seed in the IIAC Tournament and hosts No. 6 seed Wartburg on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m.
