Dubuque series now on the road
INDIANOLA, Iowa - Due to unplayable field conditions for the foreseeable future, Simpson's season-ending baseball series against Dubuque will now be played in Dubuque on Sunday and Monday.
Originally scheduled to be played May 3-4 in Indianola, the series was pushed back to Sunday-Monday, May 5-6 due to inclement weather. Now, the games will be played in Dubuque with start times set for 1 p.m. each day.
As per Iowa Conference rule, Simpson - which is fighting for a spot in the Iowa Conference Tournament - will be recognized as the home team on the scoreboard.
