Weekend baseball series moved to Indianola
INDIANOLA, Iowa – The Iowa Conference baseball series between Simpson and Buena Vista scheduled for this weekend in Storm Lake will now be played in Indianola due to the snow and rain accumulated in Northwest Iowa.
The four-game series begins with a doubleheader on Saturday starting at 2 p.m. and concludes with another doubleheader Sunday at 1 p.m.
Buena Vista remains the "home" team on the scoreboard, as per Iowa Conference rule. The doubleheader format is a 7-inning game followed by a 9-inning game.
