Storm drop three at IIAC Duals
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Simpson wrestling team faced three of the top teams in the nation at the Iowa Conference Duals on Saturday, falling to No. 1 Wartburg 45-0, No. 4 Coe 45-0 and No. 20 Dubuque 40-6.
The Storm fell to 6-13 on the year with the losses.
Junior 165-pounder Cory Stratton earned Simpson's only win of the day, pinning Dubuque's Dalton Grinstead in 1:01 during the second match of the day.
Simpson closes the dual season Feb. 9 at Central. Start time is set for 7 p.m.
