Love enters the sidelines for the Storm after spending the past three seasons as the special teams coordinator and linebackers coach with Angelo State University. Before that stint, he held the same role and added secondary coach duties to his title at Millersville University from 2013-15.

He was a ball hawk for the Panthers and was tied for first on the team during the 2002 and 2003 seasons in interceptions.

The St. Louis, Mo. native graduated in 2007 from Eastern Illinois with a degree in general studies. Love currently resides in Indianola, Iowa with his wife, Clemente' and their two children, George III and Cruze.

Tovey returns to Bill Buxton Stadium, where he spent his collegiate playing days for Simpson from 2013-15. While donning the red and gold, Tovey tossed for 363 yards and had a 54.5 completion percentage, and rushed for two touchdowns.

Tovey joins the staff from Hastings College, where he was the offensive graduate assistant since 2017. The year before, Tovey was a student assistant for the Storm in 2016.

In 2016, he earned a degree in psychology from Simpson. From there, he received a masters of teaching in K-12 physical education from Hastings. A native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Tovey currently resides in West Des Moines.
