LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Simpson College women's volleyball team rounded out its weekend in La Crosse with a pair of losses to Minn.-Morris (3-0) and Augsburg (3-1).
Of the seven sets the Storm played, four were decided by two points. Minn.-Morris (7-3) swept the first match of the day with set scores of 25-23, 25-18 and 26-24, while Augsburg (7-4) came back to beat Simpson 30-28, 25-15 and 25-17 after the Storm (3-9) won the opening set 26-24.
The Storm tallied 83 kills on the day, hitting .149 overall.
