DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Simpson women's soccer team had trouble generating offense in a 3-0 loss to Loras in Saturday's Iowa Conference opener.
The Duhawks (6-2-1) broke a scoreless tie with a Danielle Vujovic goal in the 24th minute and would never look back. Katie Truesdale provided insurance with goals in the 57th and 74th minute, her 8th and 9th goals of the year.
Lauren Stillman put one shot on goal and Zoe Seiler made five saves in 90 minutes in goal for Simpson (2-6), which managed just one shot against a stingy Loras defense.
