Storm wrap season at regionals

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The Simpson College men's wrestling team wrapped up the 2023-24 season at the two-day Lower Midwest Regional.

Noel Torres led the Storm with two wins in the 149-pound bracket. He earned a 9-7 decision over Brady Nardella from Huntingdon as well as a pin over Wyatt Cooley of Westminster in 2:31.

Shane Mathias picked up one win at 197 pounds, defeating Nebraska Wesleyan's Sam Weaver via a 12-0 major decision.
