Storm begin play in Wartburg Fall Invite

WAVERLY, Iowa -- On the opening day of the Wartburg Fall Invitational, the Simpson women's golf team shot a 340 to land in 17th, led by senior Hannah Gordon on Saturday.

Gordon fired an 80 to finish tied for 45th. Gordon is followed by Haley Booton, who shot four strokes higher with an 84 for her season-best round. Emily Jansen carded an 86 to tie her season-best performance. Madison Hance and Kelsey Poppe round out the golfers for the Storm.

Simpson will be back in action tomorrow with an 8:30 a.m. start at Prairie Links Golf Course in Waverly, Iowa.
