Women’s golf closes out Sail Classic

DIKE, Iowa -- On the final day of the Sail Classic, senior Hannah Gordon led the Storm women's golf team by tying for 11th on Sunday at Fox Ridge Golf Club. Simpson ended tied for seventh as a team.

Gordon fired an 81 to finish with a two-day total of 159. After firing a career-best yesterday, Madison Hance ended with a score of 166 to finish tied for 25th. Emily Jansen nearly missed her career-low of 82 with an 86 today. Haley Booton carded a 94. McKala Downing recorded a two-day total of 218 for the Storm.

Simpson returns to action this Saturday in the Wartburg Invitational at Prairie Links Golf Course in Waverly, Iowa.
