Swimming teams earn team academic honors

INDIANOLA, Iowa – The Simpson swimming and diving program has earned Scholar All-America Team honors for the 2016 fall semester, as announced by The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

In order to be selected for the CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, college and university programs must achieve a grade point average of 3.00 or higher during the spring semester.

The men's and women's teams both qualified for the team for the first semester of the academic year, with the women's team posting a 3.21 GPA and the men finishing with a 3.02. The teams also earned placement on the team both semesters of the 2015-16 season.
