IIAC opening baseball series at Coe postponed
INDIANOLA, Iowa - Due to poor field conditions and unseasonably cold temperatures, Simpson's four-game Iowa Conference opening baseball series at Coe scheduled for Friday and Saturday has been postponed.
Simpson will travel to Daniels Park in Cedar Rapids for a doubleheader (7/9) Monday, March 28 at 1 p.m. The final two games of the series will take place more than a month later, on Sunday, May 1 at Daniels Park. Start time for the final two games is also set for 1 p.m.
The Storm (3-7) have been off since March 10 when they split a doubleheader with Bethany Lutheran on the final day of the Tucson Invitational in Arizona.
