Baseball doubleheader postponed to Wednesday
INDIANOLA, Iowa - Tuesday's Iowa Conference baseball doubleheader between Simpson and Central has been postponed to Wednesday due to forecasted showers Tuesday afternoon. Start time is set for 3:30 p.m. at Simpson's McBride Field.
The home junior varsity contest scheduled for Wednesday against Des Moines Area CC has been canceled.
The Dutch (4-9, 2-2 Iowa Conference) are coming off a four-game split with Luther, including a wild 20-17 win Saturday. The Storm (4-13, 1-5) were swept by preseason conference favorite Wartburg on Sunday and Monday.
