31 named to IIAC Spring All-Academic Team
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Thirty-one Simpson student-athletes competing in spring sports earned a spot on the 2015-16 Iowa Conference All-Academic Team.
To be eligible for IIAC All-Academic Team honors a student-athlete must compete at the varsity level, be at least a sophomore in academic standing and sustain a 3.5 or better cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).
The women's track team led the way with 12 selections, followed by the men's track team with seven. Softball had six, men's tennis had three, baseball had two, and men's golf had one.
