Baseball doubleheader against Central postponed to Monday

INDIANOLA, Iowa - Wednesday's Iowa Conference baseball doubleheader between Simpson and Central has been postponed due to rain. The teams will now play their midweek twinbill Monday, April 11 at Simpson's McBride Field. Start time is set for 3:30 p.m.

The Storm (4-13, 1-5) are scheduled to go to Dubuque for a four-game set with the Spartans this weekend. The series begins with a doubleheader Friday at 1 p.m. and concludes with a doubleheader Saturday, also at 1 p.m. 

Friday's forecast in Dubuque calls for a high of 40 degrees and winds gusting 25-35 mph. Saturday should be calmer and sunny with a high of 43 degrees. There is a 10 percent chance of rain each day.
