Storm come up short in doubleheader at Dubuque
DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Storm fell to Dubuque and Loras after hard-fought competition this weekend.
In match one, Bella Tranquilino, Coilee Hynek, and Anna Schewe performed best for the Storm in their respective singles matchups. Anna Schewe pushed her match to extra scoring, falling to Dubuque 6-2, 7-5, 10-8.
Grace Peck and Coilee Hynek recorded the best scores in doubles competition against Dubuque, coming up just short of the victory against Dubuque.
In the matchup against Loras, Maggie Hall and Anna Schewe had the most scores for the Storm. Schewe recorded a 6-4 set against Loras.
In doubles competition against Loras, Coilee Hynek and Savana Walls came close to a victory with a score of 7-6 against the Duhawks.
