Storm falls to Central 6-1 Saturday night, seniors recognized.

INDIANOLA, Iowa – The Simpson women's tennis team fell to Central this Saturday 6-1 despite a strong performance from senior Bella Tranquilino.

On her senior night, Bella Tranquilino brought the Storm their only victory of the night in singles play, defeating her opponent 7-5, 6-0. Grace Peck and Coilee Hynek also put up strong performances in singles competition, with Hynek going to an extra set.

In doubles play, the team lost all three of their matchups, however Grace Peck and Bella Tranquilino put up the best score of the night, falling 6-4 against their opponents.

This matchup came on senior day with the three seniors being recognized for their achievements as Simpson Storm athletes. The team's three seniors Bella Tranquilino, Maggie Hall, and Anna Schewe were all recognized.
