
Storm women's tennis falls to Truman State after week-long break
INDIANOLA, Iowa – Simpson fell to Truman State this Tuesday in the Storm's return to action after a week-long hiatus. Despite hard-fought battles from Maggie Hall, Bella Tranquilino, and Grace Peck, the Storm dropped all six of their singles competitions.
In doubles competition, duo Bella Tranquilino and Grace Peck performed highest amongst the team, dropping their match 6-3. Duo Anna Schewe and Maggie Hall dropped their match 6-2 to be the second-highest performing duo. The Storm fell to Truman State in all three of their doubles competitions.
Despite the loss, this is the first time that Simpson has started their season 2-1 since 2021.
