Storm defeat Iowa Western in Senior Night meet

INDIANOLA, Iowa – The Storm women hit the lanes today in Indianola for a home meet against Midland, Iowa Western, and St. Mary's. Today's meet brought successes for many of the women on the team.

In the 1000 yard freestyle, Maude Steinbeck raced a 12:22.82, which earned her a second place finish in the event. In the 100 yard backstroke, Lennox Gradoville was able to snag a fifth place finish with a race time of 1:11.31.

Kate Minette attacked the 50 yard freestyle, coming up in second place with a quick time of 25.61. In the 100 yard freestyle, she took second place once again with a time of 56.24, just milliseconds off from first.

The women finished strong on the day in their 200 yard freestyle relay where the team of Lennox Gradoville, Riley Carl, Maude Steinbeck, and Kate Minette took second place with a time of 1:49.89.
