Men’s and women’s swimming earn Scholar All-America honor

INDIANOLA, Iowa - Both of the Simpson College men and women's swimming and diving teams were named Scholar All-America Teams by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

In order to qualify for the recognition, teams had to exhibit a grade point average of 3.0 or above during the Fall 2023 semester.

The Simpson women collected a team GPA of 3.33, which ranked second among all other women's conference programs. The Storm have been selected as a Scholar All-America team for the 18th time in the last 22 semesters.

The Simpson men earned a team GPA of 3.02 and are earning the Scholar All-America Team distinction for the first time under head coach Adam Cvetich.

The Storm resume competition at home on Saturday against Coe, with the meet also serving as the team's Senior Day. Both teams will compete at the American Rivers Conference Championships beginning on Feb. 22.
