Storm face stiff competition in final meet of 2023

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The Simpson College men's wrestling team completed its 2023 season at the North Central Open on Saturday.

The tournament field was loaded with top 10 teams as the Storm toed the line against wrestlers from No. 1 Augsburg, No. 4 Wis.-La Crosse, No. 6 Baldwin Wallace, No. 9 North Central and No. 10 Wabash.

Caden Elliott (174) highlighted the day with a fall over Connor Morin of Fontbonne in 4:25. Nicholas Silva, Zach Westerfield and Shane Mathias each earned a win by decision.
