Carlock, Sampson earn CSC Academic All-District honors

INDIANOLA, Iowa – Will Carlock and Joel Sampson of the Simpson College baseball team were selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team on Tuesday.

This is Carlock's second time being honored by the CSC for his success on the field and in the classroom, while Sampson picks up his first recognition.

To qualify, all nominees must be at least a sophomore in academic standing, have played in 90 percent of the team's games or started at least 66 percent, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. The full team can be viewed by clicking here.

The 2024 CSC Academic All-America team will be announced on July 2.
