Gordon takes medalist honors at Saint Mary’s

WINONA, Minn. -- Hannah Gordon fired an 82 for the second straight day to win medalist honors at the Saint Mary's Invitational, leading the Storm to a second-place finish in the team standings.

Gordon won the tournament comfortably, topping Macalester's Izzy Hebert by six strokes for the first win of her career.

The Storm shot 372 as a team on Sunday for a two-round total of 730, 23 strokes behind champion Macalester.

Lydia Martin turned in a top-10 finish after shooting a 96 to take eighth. Her Saturday score was initially incorrectly reported as an 82, but was actually an 85.

Madison Hance and Kelsey Poppe finished in the top 20 whil Haley Booton, Emily Jansen, Megan Crockett and Kelsa Berkland rounded out the Storm's finishers.
