Moon, Warrick earn all-region status

WAVERLY, Iowa - Spencer Moon and Ean Warrick earned all-region honors as the Simpson College men's cross country team finished in seventh overall at the NCAA Midwest Regional.

Spencer Moon finished in seventh overall, assuring him of a spot at the NCAA Division III Championship next weekend. With his performance, Moon became the first athlete in program history to earn four all-region honors in his career.

"Our men ran well today," said Storm director of cross country and track and field Heath Moenck. "Being able to place seventh in this region is a great accomplishment and an effort we are proud of. Spencer took care of business getting to nationals and Ean has a shot as well."
