No. 8: Hannah Yarbrough sets three school records at Liberal Arts Championships

The No. 8 moment of the year came courtesy of a freshman swimmer who re-wrote the program record books at the team's biggest meet of the year.

Hannah Yarbrough splashed on the scene in her first season swimming for the Storm. From Winthrop Harbor, Ill., Yarbrough established herself as one of the program's best distance swimmers to hit the water with her performance at the Liberal Arts Championships.

The records Yarbrough broke had been on the books for five years, set by Melody Burgus in 2007. Her first record came in the 500 freestyle, finishing in 5:39.32 to place 18th. She then set the school record in the 1,650 freestyle, touching the wall in 19:24.29 to place 13th. Her third school record was in the 1,000 freestyle, which she set as a split in the 1,650. Her mark there will stand at 11:39.01.

Yarbrough's records were part of seven that fell at the Liberal Arts Championships, capping off a successful season for the Storm swimmers.
