Storm hold at No. 10 in latest regional ranking
NEW ORLEANS - After a week with no action, the Storm men's cross country team retained their spot at No. 10 in the latest United States Track and Field & Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) regional ranking poll on Wednesday.
The Storm were one of five schools from the American Rivers Conference to make it, including Wartburg, Loras, Central, and Dubuque. On the year, the Storm have been led by former A-R-C Runner of the Week Cole Leggett, Miles Combs, along with an influx of talented freshman like James Johnson, Ezra De Cleene, Ryan North, and Jack Cavan.
Simpson makes one last stop in the regular season, traveling to Nebraska for the Platte River Rumble on Friday, Oct. 18.
