Cole Leggett earns all-conference honors at the A-R-C Championships

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - For the fifth straight year, the Simpson men's cross country team was led by an all-conference performance, this year Cole Leggett earned the honors with his 15th-place finish on Saturday.

Leggett put together his best performance of the year, smashing his personal record in the 8K with a time of 25:08.9 minutes. The mark is nearly 80 seconds faster than his best 8K time this season. Miles Combs was the second Storm to record a sub-26 minute time, coming in 35th overall with his mark of 25:41.5, a personal best as well.

"Our men ran well today and I'm proud of their efforts," said head coach Heath Moenck. "Cole Leggett to be all-conference this year was spectacular. He's put in a lot of work these past few years, and it was great to see him rewarded."
