Hays honored as lone Storm women’s tennis senior

INDIANOLA, Iowa -- Simpson women's tennis player, Kathryn Hays, is the lone senior on the squad that was set to end her career on the court this spring for the Storm. Simpson finished 3-7 this year after the spring slate was cancelled.

Hays spent the last two seasons on the team to help Simpson tally 10 victories during that span, the program's most in a two-year stretch since the Storm won 11 matches from 2014-16.

Comments from head coach Faith Bliss
"Kathryn Hays is an outstanding supporter, great teammate, and had no problem making sure her teammates and coaches were enjoying their time on the tennis court. She was a late starter in the game of tennis, but developed her game quickly by working hard in the off-season to develop her backhand and volley skills. We will truly miss her energy and on-court support next season!"
