Storm launch second season in Wisconsin

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Simpson College women's gymnastics team launched its second season by traveling northeast to face Wis.-La Crosse in dual action.

QUICK HITS

• The Storm accumulated a score of 178.725, while the hosts won the meet with a 188.950.
• Simpson's highest event score of the night was a 46.575 on vault. Kaelyn Tally led the team with a 9.500, earning third place overall.
• Freshman Abbie Lain was the meet's only gymnast to compete in all four events. She recorded an all-around score of 35.675 fueled by a team-best 9.500 on beam.
• Emma Charles led the Storm on bars (8.875), while Emma Tolbert was the team leader on floor (9.450).
